At Rheem Thermal, we thrive on providing specialist advice on both design and application to the consulting sector.
Our 60+ years specialization in gas and heat pump water heating means that we are able to work co-operatively with consultants to ultimately provide bespoke solutions that show-case the latest in innovative design, manufacture and most importantly, in energy efficiency.
The end result of this co-operative design process is an array of show-case and awarded projects such as the Sydney Opera House, which has recently been awarded a 4-star Green Star Performance by the Green Building Council of Australia where a 100kW Accent water-to-water heat pump system is part of a highly innovative seawater cooling system that sources water directly from the harbour to power the building’s main heating and air-conditioning.
Our diverse product range reflects an ability to respond to specific project and application needs with project engineering supported by the ability to custom-manufacture in air-to-water, water-to-water and ground-sourced heat type heat pumps.
Much of our project involvement will be one-on-one dedicated design with our specialist HVAC and gas engineers or with our commercial specialists in the evaluation of energy pricing and project economic evaluation.
In the area of pool heating, the basis of our evaluation will be heat load modeling applying the UNSW Poolheat Program and the level of design detail required for this initial work is outlined in our Questionnaire (link here).
